About the Discord Helper role

What does a Discord Helper do?

  • Moderate channels and remove messages that break the rules.
  • Issue time-outs to users who violate guidelines.
  • Delete inappropriate messages.
  • Answer basic questions about SMC, generally help out, and provide leadership in the community.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for responsible and mature individuals who:

  • Are 16 years or older.
  • Have no history of controversies, rule-breaking, or toxic behavior.
  • Are passionate about the SMC community and want to contribute positively.

This is a voluntary position, you’re welcome to help out whenever you have time. No strict schedule, just a chance to support the community and build leadership experience. Great Discord Helpers will be reviewed and asked about potentially becoming an SMC Moderator.
